Hey guys, im fairly new to this whole admin life. But I would like to continue doing this for a long time.. I recently had to kick someone for mic spamming,(recently being like 2 hours ago i guess)i warned him again and again to stop playing music while everyone was playing.. Although no one was complaining.. I still warned him if he kept it up, he would force me to kick him. What does he do? He plays the i love you barney song.. So i kicked him for 1440 minutes(24 hrs) and I had a big uprising from 3 or more people saying "he wasnt bothering anyone! why are you abusing ur admin. all you wanna do is pick a fight!" yada yada yada.. I told them if the disagreed with the way i handled the situation to report it.. And im sorry if i offended anyone.. Im just trying to do what im suppose to do.
I guess all I want to know is if I was wrong in what I did. And if so then im sorry I'll try and be more easier on the next guy I guess.

My opinion that was not abuse as he did not listen to your warnings but the ban itself maybe a bit too long. 1 hour or 2 would be fine.

So Im sure this is going to come up all over this forum. But there was an admin on noob tonight who repeatedly kicked to the point of ban everybody who was on the server. Bastard. so Waa and I tried to unban every1 but im sure we missed alot of them. here is the ****suckers steam id "The Lone Gunman" STEAM_0:1:6008719 02:39 20 0 active its all i could do to get that. Sorry to every1 who got baned. There was nothing I could do for you but I'll try to get waa or someone to help me try to unban every1 in my friends list.

I just banned him so the server should be safe for now, but we still need to get all those people unbanned.

An Admin I have never seen before came in and kicked all the players....some 2 times and the server auto banned them which it took me awhile to fix and I am not happy about it since I don't get to play much anyway. Here is some of the text from the server....

You have admin override you could of kicked him or banned him in that case like waa did.

How long did you ban him? None the less his admin is removed.


Good news out of all this is it only counts as a 24 hour ban so all those who were banned can come back in.

I unbanned all the affected players Kyle and only kicked him since I haven't been on in awhile I wasn't sure what his problem was. I saw some players had there accounts hi jacked so I just wanted you guys to know. At one time I had the power to modify players admin I did look for that option but it wasn't there. So I only kicked him and reported it here.

Modifying admin powers through the menu only last until server changes map i think...

it is @addadmin and you can customize it but it shouldnt be used unless rare occasions like that and then letting me know because when I upload admins to the server I am going to give him his powers back because thats how it is saved on my side. I also thought addadmin crahsed the server maybe that was fixed. I will have to try sometime.

You should really consider revoking Tapout's admin privileges. I know this hurts the income for your operation, so maybe you have some other consequence for his abuse. I'm told you've received previous complaints about him.

He frequently teleports, etc. to help himself to do better, and if you call him on it, that is "disrespecting the admin" so he abuses further by punishing you (slapping, slaying, beacons, teleporting, etc.) He will deny any abuse, all the while continuing to abuse more.

This is causing people including myself to leave your severs whenever he is there.

Admin privileges are meant to enforce fair play, not enable paying people to play unfairly without consequence.

wow i cant believe all this time i was gone, there are still admin abusing -_-
